Gunplumber has made my L1A1 a beauty! Can't wait to take it out to the range!

Well I couldn't complain about the short barrel or it's looks at the time considering I only paid $290.

This one was a 16". I don't recommend 16" on a FAL, and especially not on an L1A1. L1A1s just need more readily than FALs, as the non-threaded regulator leaks more. So if you want shorter, I'd stick with 17.2" on FAL, and maybe 18" + PNG F1 short flash hider on a L1A1 (although I think the standard 3 slot looks more bad-ass). Had to go with a .120 gas port on this one, and swap out the piston for one with a full .430 head. That's why I don't care for 16". It's right on the edge, so even a .001" difference in piston head matters. An extra 2" and you have a lot more room for wear.
