Mason Dixon Spring Shoot 5/20/2017

All,
I hope the weekend of 5/20/17 works for all. I wanted to get a date set, even though I still have things up in the air about a back operation. Was hoping to have it done before June, but don't look that way at this moment. As always, camping and drinking Fri night.

Should work, it has been a busy spring. Between my knee recovery and moving my parents in from Pittsburgh, I am ready to un-wind.

Find the Flight 93 Memorial along US Rt 30 in Somerset county; about 5 miles from there. Just north of Central City on PA 160. I can get you the GPS address I use if you need it.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."

I have an NRA banquet on Friday night. I am a committee member plus I already have about $3k sunk into it. If I get there fri night, it will be late, otherwise I'll be there early Sat AM. Gotta figure out if I want to get a yacht, or tent it.

HaHa funny guy!! I will have a new and interesting toy to bring along, and of course the cannon. If anyone wants to work up some interesting projectiles, have at it!! Looking more like Saturday morning, we will leave real early and sleep in the trailer or outside, depending on the weather. I have a canopy tent I can bring along.

Standards usually go down as the liquor flows, maybe not that low but as long as it has all of the right parts it's gtg.

I'm pretty sure I've never posted gay Easter bunny pics so
maybe I should have some leeway here !

I've got a pretty crazy schedule but I'll try to show on
Saturday .
Sorry I haven't been up in a while .
My kids got medical problems, my dad has Leukemia,
my brother has Lymphoma ,and my wife is her usual psycho self .
The 200 mile drive between me and family keeps me busy .

I hurt my right arm a bit ago but hopefully I''ll be healed up
by then . Right now I can't even practice shoot unless it's offhand .

It's about time for me to buy a new toy ...

Rich, if you do make it.....Do you have a bit that will fit the gas plug of the 8mm Garand? I'm having a heck of a time finding something that will get a good bite. I don't want to bugger it up. If all else fails, I will get one of the guys in the R&D machine shop to whip me one up out of some super tough stainless.

Take out the hex head screw, then just use a Garand multi tool. Its the blade that looks like a big dull screwdriver. I think there was one in the trap in the stock. If not I'll look around here for one.

Reasonable to cheap.

I don't really need the molds, it would have to be a really sweet deal, as I am trading her stuff and have to buy her out of it.

I'll bring some 06, probably 10K or so of it. You need it boxed, clipped, enbloced, or linked? AP, ball, tracer, SP???

Bring a 14... Maybe we can work something out.

The cans of x39 I opened were copper washed steel. Chinese? Didn't look at the headstamps.

In 308 there were battle packs of SA for sure. I don't remember what else for sure. I was "stuff drunk". I had no idea how much stuff there was going to be when I offered to help her out.

If any attendees have a Glock 19/23 with undercut trigger guard please bring along. Would like to see how it feels. I know how a stock 19/23 feels and its very unremarkable. Mildly annoying.

I'm askin for a friend, of course ( I ran my mouth too much in the past to admit to now owning a Glock).

Bring a 14... Maybe we can work something out.
clipped for a Springfield '03.

The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Got it covered.

Roger, got you too.

Paul, got some 45 set aside for you, not a huge amount, but the price will be right.

Anyone else?

Looking at $.15 for the 7.62x39(russian), $.40 for the 308(assorted, most is SA), and $.50 for the 30-06(Greek and LC). fair to her, but yet enough below current market that it will sell.

Powder and primers? Lots of pistol primers and powder, some rifle primers

Anybody flush with cash and interested in a semi 1919 package?

308 gun, crank fire, tripod, buckets of links, many 1000s of rounds of ammo linked.

Would sell just the linked ammo too.

Went to an auction tonite, only 40 bidders for 240 guns. I came home with 80. You will not believe some of the stuff I got. I was in this strange position where I did not bid on guns because I would only make $100 or $150 on them. Winchester 71 Deluxe for $700 was typical. I paid $400 for $2k guns, unreal. I'm too pumped up yet to sleep. Should make for good campfire talk.
