Gun Parts Found in a British River

http://outdoorjourney.net/father-son...rawling-river/

Found using a magnet tied to a nylon rope. All kinds of parts. Wonder if it was a collector that just gave up?

“A hoard of WW2 guns,” quite a wide variety in that spread.

My guess is that they are a bunch of old deactivated weapons that someone just got rid of. Lots of old standard deactivated arms still kicking around the UK.

There is an MP44 trigger group too. Sad, they dream about finding rusted up junk in a river while we shoot this stuff every day. Britons are essentially slaves and it's been so long they are happy to be so. That's how that bunghole piers morgan wants us to live.

No, really.

Doubt she will attract a magnet on the end of a nylon cord, though.

Did they arrest the entire village? After all, they were probably all in on the scheme.

I doubt "the IRA" went to the trouble of torch cutting and chopping through the receivers before dumping them in the river.

Looks like a typical demilled parts kit collector's stash.

Interesting things can be found in rivers. Years ago a diver found an MP40 and MG42 in the Rogue River near Medford, OR. He turned them both into OSP. The guys in the crime lab got the MP40 running and I got to run a couple mags through it.

I concur many interesting things can be found in rivers, especially directly under a bridge.

Wait a minute. You mean someone actually did lose their guns in an unfortunate boating accident? I thought that was just something you tell the confiscation cops.
