RIA auction Fully Automatic Class III/NFA Barr Armsmaker FN/FAL Type Rifle

Rock Island Auction has lot 2473 https://www.rockislandauction.com/de...e-rifle#detail
Never heard of Barr Armsmaker. It states it is a fully transferable Class III weapon.

Description;
This is an excellent example of a scarce Barr Armsmaker FN-FAL rifle that has been assembled with one of the Austrian STG-58 part kits. The rifle is fully automatic, and the part kit was one of the late Steyr manufactured versions with a late gray phosphated type metal finish, metal handguard and black plastic buttstock and pistol grip. The parts set has all matching numbers. The parts were assembled on a newly manufactured Barr Armsmaker receiver, which is marked on the underside: BARR ARSMAKER FRANKSTON TX." and serial numbered on the side "8015BA"
Not sure where they're getting that serial number from, upper show 801BA but lower s.n. is completely different.
Condition;
Fine as assembled/refurbished with 98% of the phosphated finish overall. The stock and pistol grip are both in very fine condition showing light/minor handling marks on the sides. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.

Never heard of this receiver mfgr. A quick search (no website) shows they are only a dealer and/or gunsmithing services, not a mfgr.
Also how can it be "fully" transferable if "The parts were assembled on a newly manufactured Barr Armsmaker receiver" unless they are talking about it being built before '86GCA.

That is sweet! Wonder if the Stolle brake keeps the muzzle down during automatic fire? That rifle screams for a Chicken Mitt with those metal handguards though...wonder if it comes with one?

Personally, I am partial to the OVE GLOVE, my wife hates it when I take it out of the drawer by the range to head to the range...
