Is it a boar or a sow, and how can we tell without rolling it on its back and sexing it?

Sorry, but that question is out of bounds in this century.
Could be either.

I am having boundary issues lately, it seems.

Next week...sensitivity training. That'll keep me in line!

Regardless of the subject's sexual identity, thanks for posting the cool photos.

I hate bears. They're not any good for anything. All they are is destructive stomachs on four legs.

In my area, they're over populated which compounds the problems that we have to put up with. There is not enough food for them naturally so they resort to dumpster diving. I don't only blame the bears. I blame the politicians for protecting them so earnestly and not even having a meaningful hunting season to keep their numbers capped.

I couldn't even let our kids play outside in our own yard without having a gun with me it was so bad until we moved.

The state can even fine YOU if bears get into your garbage. They call it unintentionally feeding the bears.

Love this place.
The lighter side of living.
Fed up with the rest of it.
Come and hang out on the files.
If your not nuts already, you soon will be.

Cute, but for the bear it's *water aerobics*...

For some reason, this woman pops up when searching for such.

I wish I could. You could have every one of them far as I am concerned.

I have photos of no less than 17 different bears on the same trail camera and in the same spot.

That's over-populated by anyones standards.

Put away the pik-a-nick basket and you won't have a Yogi problem.
