GP is no friend of mine due to his totally nasty remarks,however anybody that thinks he will ever get banned for life is crazy(Jen gave him a 2 day ban once,personally I dont know why she bothered ,I guess just to please the rest of the members),GP has friends in high places on this site so dont bother with asking for him to get banned......

Just an observation, but this board is privately owned and if said owner would like to grant a 'pass' to members, then that is the way it is. Gary said as much in his post.

Whenever someone got the better of giggly in a conversation he resorted to ad hominem attacks and insults about their families.

He once told me he was doing my daughter and my mother was doing Mexicans behind the bar.
I told him I rather doubted it as my mother had been dead for years and my my happily married daughter with two kids had more class than that but she could do whoever she pleased.

Am I happy he's dead?
No, but I can honestly say I couldn't care less. He was no more or less than any other human and was subject to the faults and foibles we all have in common.

I was merely pointing out that if I felt like asking people to 'give it a rest', (somewhere on the 'Low-Impact' to 'No-Impact' Moderation Continuum), I would have to write a poll to find out if anyone was going to say anything else, OR, just ask it. I just asked.
