South African / Portuguese 7.62x51 Ammo (Cases / Battle Packs)

I've been gone for a while, but now back.

In looking through the Marketplace threads and online, I haven't seen any postings for South African or Portuguese 7.62x51 ammo... either by the case or by the battle pack. So, has anyone seen any lately? If so where and about how much can one expect to pay?

Thanks,
8654

I use to buy it 18 years ago at $180 per 1000rds. Was good stuff, never a problem at all, then.

get ready for a shock, its allot more expensive now... I remember those days... 10 cents or less a round is long gone.

You may need a second mortgage to feed an FAL these days... cost per round seems to be in the 50-70 cents range, even in bulk purchases

Looks like it is close in price to steel case.

Port is the better ammo but SA is better for storage as it doesn't corrode.
