Service grade Winchester M1

Picked up one at North Store last week during games. The three tags caught my eye.
GAW stock with A4 stamped in left side. Win trigger gp,RA op rod, SA bolt , hammer and barrel new 1-55.
I have since changed out SA parts for Win except for barrel from tool box and headspaced.

One happy camper. Thanks CMP

Hopefully today. Would not close on go guage until reamed. That is done now so I have a couple of other chores to catch up on. Funny how goofing off at Camp Perry for a week can set a schedule on it's ear.

Looks like June 1943 and the stock should be right in the same area.
All set to shoot tomorrow.

I always thought CMP checked this stuff. Guess I should be checking as well. Is this normal?

He swapped the bolts. The new bolt didn't head space, so he reamed the chambered until it did.

I did swap bolts but only after I had reamed to headspace with the bolt SA that was in it on arrival. SA and Win bolts were exactly the same. I didn't even realize I had some Winchester bolts in the shop when I started out with this one.
