I only have a RAR in rimfire, but a buddy has one in blackout that is pretty impressive for the price point.
The x39 version using mini30 mags instead of the proprietary rotary mag appeals much more to me.
Looking forward to your range report...

Well, its a legit MOA gun with a good scope, lightening the trigger, and running Hornady SST's thru it - fun gun with virtually no recoil.

I am very impressed with mine. I put a 3-9x Hawke scope on it. It shoots 1 to 1-1/2" groups with Federal x39. I ran some Russian steel case through it, but the point of aim was apparently different than the Federal and I could not hit steel plates at 100 yds. I will get it back to the range to see where it goes with the steel case. Very light, handy with little recoil. More practical than my Spanish 93 Carbine converted to x39.

Have M77's and Hawkeyes, Mini 14's and Mini-14 Ranch but not an American Ranch yet. I am sure hunting laws dictated choice but if was available in 458 SOCOM rather than 450 Bushmaster would have it or have on order as a dedicated subsonic turn bolt. Of the cartridge choices offered I would go with 300 BO.

I have a Remington 700 in .300 BO for my dedicated sub-sonic turn-bolt. Fiocchi 220 gr at 1020 fps is pretty quiet!!
