It's supposed to run off of Glock Mags. I look at this and ponder my fatal attraction to guns of the Österreich.

They've been promising this for three years. I'd love to see it, but I am not holding my breath until it is in stores.

Its going to be a quite a bit smaller than a 9mm AR.

Wow, looks to be a nice handy little carbine. Wonder if they are going to make it in .45 ACP or even 10mm Auto? That might generate some LE interest.

I applaud their decision to use Glock mags, if true.

If these come out I'll have to buy some glock mags.

If its 9mm, and they were smart it would be short enough for Glock 19 mags. That way you could run any of the 15+ round mags in it.

The perfect Glock mag for this would be the 33 rounder for the Glock 18.

That would definitely be the hottest (standard semi-auto pistol) round to use.

A carbine in 9mm or .45 Auto would do for me. If they could make one that could accept BHP mags I'll be even more happy.

I do not have any Glock in my inventory, so I would need to buy me some mags...

Thousand-dollar pistol-caliber carbine with no happy switch.

Meh.

I'd rather see a .22LR trainer based off somebody's AR-15 .22LR magazines.

I would not object to an MSAR in 9mm or .45 with a conversion unit using .22LR ammo. IMHO it actually would be a fun gun..........

I'm not interested in a .223 at all. An MSAR in .308 would also be up my alley, as long as it uses either FAL mags, M14 mags or HK91 / G3 mags.

MSAR has advanced the idea that they might be offering a STG Gen IV stock with a 9mm adapter kit that will use Glock mags as a way to use up some of the Gen IV stocks that they have in inventory.

I think the MCS is a great idea and really like the idea that it has a full length barrel in the same footprint that a 11.5" AR with the stock collapsed takes up. Also nice is that the ejection is supposed to be down through the hole behind the magwell (though I'm not sure how they're going to do that) rather than to the right or left.

When it comes out, and I get one, I think I'll have to break down and buy a can for it. It looks like it really needs one.

I wonder how many calibers they will offer?
10mm and 45ACP would be cool.

For the MCS, I believe the plan is to offer the major calibers offered by Glock; 9mm, .40, .357 SIG with the small frame adapter, and .45 and 10mm with the large frame adapter for the mag well.

The STG conversion will be purely 9mm and use Glock mags.

The 10mm and 45acp won't need an adapter since the mag well is sized for that standard-sized mag (both 10mm & 45 acp Glock mags have the same dimensions). Only the smaller-sized Glock mags would need an adapter.
