Hugh stockpile

I must admit, at 18 he is way ahead of where I was at that age. Was he living at home or was he employed and had a hobby?
As a side note the Z generation (Zoomers, born after 1996) from an article I read yesterday have a different view of the world than the snowflake generation. Don't follow the MSM, not into enviromentalism, diversity is OK as long as your pulling your weight.

The story here is not the stockpile, the story is that he was arrested for speaking his political views.

He was in theory arrested for making 'threats against federal agents', because he, to paraphrase his words, "wished the agents who murdered everyone one at WACO should be killed."

What we are in for now is a growing trend of the FBI going after political speech they don't like if it in any way refers to any generalized support for violence.

However they won't go after actually violent people today like AntiFa or the people attacking ICE facilities and threatening ICE workers and their families specifically. But they will arrest a guy who makes a vague wish that murderous Agents from 20 years ago should have been killed.

What's next, arresting people who call General Sherman a monster?

This kid is a political prisoner.

He will be released eventually unscathed, but not after legal fees bankrupt him and his dad. If they don't put him into protective custody he's likely to get a "white supreeeemist" jacket hung on him by the feds in the hope some big black bubba caves his skull in or violates his anus for daring to speak out against Hoover's Homos and Sean Hannity's "rank and file".

The FBI is now crossing the line from acting upon specific threats of violence (illegal) and moving on people who make jokes, hyperboles, or generalizations (legal). This would be like arresting a frustrated father for sarcastically saying his brood of 5 kids "Make me so mad I could strangle them!". Go to ATF's Instagram page and read the comments on virtually any post they make - it's all worse than or at least on par what this kid was writing.

The goal here isn't "stopping mass shootings" or public safety.

The goal is to squash political dissent and crush free speech.

Obey, plebs. Obey...... Watch football and the Kardashians......

25 guns ans 10,000 rounds? Nice starter kit, guess the machete is what put it over the top. Sounde like a typical 18 year old, thinks they're bulletproof and haven't gotten their @$$ kicked enough to know how to keep their mouth shut.

Don't know of any 18 year old that could afford to purchase that many guns so the gune and ammo were probably his dads. Media throwing in anything that was found in the home to try and sensationalize the article so when/ if it ever goes to trial prosecutors will only be able to use his online threats in their case against him.

Yeah guns were probably dad's, same with ammo. General threats will be hard to prosecute unless the jury is all fed agents...

Funny, being here in Ohio this is the first time I've heard this one...

I figure you are spot on
FBI raided parents home, seized all the families firearms and ammo

"Agents met with Justin Olsen, who gave written consent for a search of his car and bedroom, according to a probable cause warrant.

Upon entering Olsenís fatherís house on August 7th, agents saw 300 rounds of ammunition on the stairway leading to the second floor.
In another bedroom, they found rifle cases, thousands of rounds of ammunition, camouflage clothing and camouflaged backpacks, along with a large gun vault, the affidavit states. Inside the vault were AR-15-style rifles and shotguns."

so the kid gave permission to search his car and bedroom and the Fibbers used that as grounds to then search the entire home
apparently the guns were not in the kids room at all but in a vault in another bedroom

It's questionable whether the Agents even had an actual search warrant or rather that after seizing the weapons they used that as PC to have an arrest warrant issued once he was detained

That would be 'huge'.

Words mean things. Perhaps if he had said 'the fed agents (in question) should have been arrested an tried for 'whatever', it would be harder for .gov to make their 'thought crime' case.
Perhaps,,,
We have definitely entered the 'thought crime' era.

Let this be a lesson,,,watch your mouth...

here's some local coverage on all this:

http://www.vindy.com/news/2019/aug/1...ested-boardma/

if you read between the lines it seems all this may have started with some local City of Boardman Defective William Woods who seems to have been responsible for swearing out the warrants on the Fathers home and his mothers home

note carefully, there is no claim the kid had guns
just that he may have potentially had access to them which then somehow justifies the seizure of the father's property

Here's a link to a PDF on the Federal warrant as well:

https://vindy.media.clients.ellingto..._affidavit.pdf

I suggest everyone browse this a bit
The Federal angle started in Febuary and out of the FBI office in Anchorage Alaska. Probably some bored Fibber trolling the iFunny kiddie meme board attempting to justify his bloated salary/existance

I have come to refer to this as The Power of One
all it takes is one shitbird with a badge to make mountains out of mole hills

the intent behind redflag, manifested--
outlawed for thought crime,
therefore grab the guns now, ex parte extra legal action,
then deal with the due process violations later (or never).

any questions?

This should be a very troubling case for anyone concerned about freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the 2nd Amendment, and the right to privacy and private property.

It's a literal police state shit storm this kid was caught up in. If he was some left-winger he would have lawyers lining up from the ACLU or The Lawyer's Guild to get him sprung from jail and sue the government.

Well Camel Toe Harris just doubled down on stupid G1:

"The Democratic presidential candidate's proposal calls for the creation of “domestic terrorism prevention orders” that would give law enforcement and family members of suspected white nationalists or domestic terrorists the ability to petition a federal court to temporarily restrict a person’s access to guns if the person exhibits clear evidence of being a danger."

"White Nationalist" is the Newspeak Buzzword for Hillary's Deplorables
practically every member of the Files qualifies as a so-called "White Nationalist"

this has gone far beyond the pale of simply averting mass shooters
now it is directly targeting all who disagree with the progressive agenda
Harris isn't even playing coy with it

yes.

so get used to living as an outlaw, in the new social paradigm.

still waiting for the answer as to what the progressives intend they are going to do with the tens of millions of freshly minted outlawed felon gunnies that they have created with the stroke of a pen.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/14/polit...sal/index.html

Harris calls her red flag order "Domestic Terrorism Prevention Orders," a measure that would empower federal courts "to temporarily seize the gun of a suspected terrorist or individual who may imminently perpetrate a hate crime," according to a proposal reviewed by CNN. Law enforcement or family would be able, under Harris' plan, to petition a federal court to take that person's guns away before a hate crime could be committed.

so there you have it.
disregarding the bill of rights 2A by judicial fiat.

It doesn't matter how hard you cuck to the left. You can scream all day about how much you love MLK or how thrilled you are your daughter brought home a member of the Crips street gang and it won't matter. If you are a white guy who is not down with the Globohomo agenda and owns firearms you are considered a "white supremacist" or "white nationalist".

Period.

With the FBI document published on August 1st that stated that people who believe in "conspiracy theories" are also "domestic terrorists" it's pretty much illegal to be an average White American now. Unless you belong to a protected "diverse" category of people or enjoy anal sex, there is no place in this country for you anymore.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!... surely there was some Drano and other "bomb-making materials" under the sink which was overlooked by the FiBbIes...

Hopefully local FALers will follow-up and let us know when a legit Legal Defense Fund is up and going... fook this un-Constitutional overreach...

I have fond memories of the 90's, as well.

ol' Bill was probably a schizo since he literally believed every single conspiracy theory ever theorized, but he was a great American and very entertaining. I miss the old guy. He'd be having an on-air coronary right about now.

neither did he likely know anything at all about his right to refuse consent to any searches, or believed whatever threats the agents made if he actually did refuse consent.

He consented, once they're in the house anything in plain view is fair game.
Even if it's not in plain view, they will search anything and everything, regardless of what the warrant says.

I guarantee you they didn't have PC for a search warrant, if the gist of his statements are correct, he made no direct specific threat of violence, hence the written consent. Once they got that and had "lawful" access to the house, anything goes........

As was previously posted, words mean things. And in the culture war the left is waging, subversion of the language is a major portion of it.
Advocating violence is not the same as advocating the use of force when and where legally and morally called for.
Learn the difference, learn the tactics of our opponent, otherwise the subversion of language is a weapon which will be used hand-in-glove with the red flag laws.
