do it yourself match ammo necessary?

Given that ammo is so readily available, cheap etc. is their any advantage to reloading? If so, does anyone have reliable info on reloading specs? Just asking.

Good Question.
It seems to me that since FAL's are battle rifles not match rifles and with the availability of "cheap" surplus ammo, it might not be worth the effort to reload.
You certainly won't save any money reloading.

True, blasting ammo is inexpensive when going the surplus route. But I do save a considerable amount of money when loading nice hunting bullets, AP, API, and tracers. Other benefits is accuracy; one could custom load some rounds that do have much better accuracy than surplus. Not to mention it is just plain fun and affords a great deal of satisfaction. My two cents anyways.
