The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Sorry folks, not gonna make it (again). Work reared it's ugly head and said no. I even had a replacement in line to fill in but other crap came up my replacement can't do. Thanks to 4x401 for sending me the directions. I'll make a copy of them and keep them on file for future reference.

I'm pretty sure we'll be there before 4PM. I think I was trying for 2PM to 4PM window from the beginning. I've got Jonathan packing while I go to work this morning.

Kid's an animal. And is punctual. He probably got that from me and my side of the family...

Hope there were safe travels home, for all. That was fun!

The ironsight 300 yard mag dump was a real challenge in the low visibility conditions. I stiil think the youth tricked us into putting up the 2/3 reduced size target, cause I woulda hit more than 5 times, if it was full size(maybe I coulda really seen it and not mistaked the bush next to it, as the target). Congrats to Otis61 for smacking it 9 times! He had a run of consecutive hits, probably 4 or 5 hits long.

Eta: we all foolishly stood around and let Brunop hold his own loose locking shoulder into the receiver, while he shot his mag dump run, without taking a single pixel of footage or photos. It was funny seeing him hold it in with his trigger finger and trigger with the 3rd knuckle of his second finger...

While I had been doing better, sportsnut nailed it. We got into camp about 7:30PM. Anyhoo... we had a great time shooting and hanging out with this group of men.

Mostly rain - no snow. Low clouds and intermittent rain/fog made for low visibility, too. No wind, which was nice. As you can see, also no sun.

Kid's huge - and strong. He's about 6' 3" - and I think he's still growing.

He can shoot, too. Got hits with multiple handguns on the 2/3rds IPSC at 200 yards.

Greg (dad) also got a first round hit at 200 with his 1911. Good handgun shooting by everyone. Good rifle shooting by lots of people except me.

Thanks for encouraging the Cap'n to come out. Fun to see a carbon copy walking and talking, that could even shoot. So, you got the charm and he got the skillz?

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."

You all shared 12 inches?

Sounds like what I've heard about Pennsylvania. Including big "appetite".

Actually, unseasonably warm.

And just a skiff of snow the last few days. Nothing like the Snowpocalypse of 2 years ago.

You do remember I'm from Minnesota, right?

Don't get me started. Dry conditions are rocket science around here.

5 inches since 1pm. We aren't leaving for awhile by the looks.
Snow all next week.

Coming down nicely at my place. Mostly melted when I got home a little after noon today. Building up again pretty quickly.
A buddy that lives in Auburn just texted me they have 12 inches with more to come.
