The FAL Primer DISCUSSION thread

Hi guys,

By now some of you have the limited release Contributors' Proof Copy of The FAL Primer.

Co-author Kevin and I *hope* to have the official public release of the 1st Edition at Knob Creek in one month's time. In order to do so, some stars have to align.

One of these stars is the review and corrections. Then we can implement the corrections and have copies of the 1st Edition run.

So if you have a copy and have been asked to proof it, please submit ASAP! You can send corrections, information, and suggestions to TheFALPrimer atatatat hooootmail dot com (I hope you can figure out what to do with that) or if it's easier, post here!

Thanks!

OK, I start.

Snpr41 says the photos for H&R and FN butt plates on page 31 are swapped.

Will be corrected for 1st Edition.

Haven't had a chance to make it very far but on page 35, the bottom left picture is described as:

"Model "af" bipod, attached; note handguards have no "horsehoe" shaped reinforcement as found on the later G1 rifles.

The handguards in the photo, however, do have the reinforcing horseshoe.
