I'm going to try this year. Used to go spring and fall just about every year but have missed the last ten or so. The new bridge was still new last time I went. Nothing's changed, has it?

I've only gone for 4 years but it has deteriorated every year since the first time I went. both the shoot and the show.

It was kind of a joke. I haven't been there in probably ten years but I did start going in 1990? I think. Probably hit it twenty times over the years I did go and it was different, and slightly less each and every time. It got bigger. It got more crowded, but I always enjoyed going. I suppose I won't even recognize it if I make it down next month.

I go for the show and always avoid the line so couldn't really care less about the shoot anyhow. Place is dangerous if you ask me. The only time to shop the tent(barn)is while the line is hot and most of the jackballs are outside watching the noise.

yeah. you do get deals occasionally. like $1 per round assorted .50 bmg (mostly apit but some ball and ap)

I've been hit twice by shrapnel, once on the line and once at our booth "not hurt either time" and our truck was hit once hard enough to crack the windshield while parked behind our booth....

....I still have one of the pieces.....

We were just to the side of the building as you first come in....right next to Century's booth.

About six years ago I took a ricochet to the head( not the one on my shoulders ...) watching the bolt match on the lower range.
I also saw a guy sitting two down from me take an 8MM ric to the shoulder. I use to laugh at people wearing body armor. But now?

We will be setting up on Thursday.
Back when we were sharing space with Century I got hit in the back with a bullet jacket while we were packing up!
Our truck also caught a round in the hood on a different trip.
Now I have a building between us and the range!

I shot B17's vintage two-gun match in Charlotte last year with my '43 Springfield Garand and have been hooked on shooting that dang rifle like never before, ever since.

One in 308 needs to slip into the stable one of these days when the right deal crosses my bows

Huss & machinegunner. Sorry we missed you and not sure how we did. Me, MG Johnny, and L1A1 collector were there chatting for 20 or 30 minutes. I'm pretty certain I saw the back of Fly2.0's head early in the day but he was not at the meet with us either.
