Savanna tool source ???

I have a neighbor looking for one. Apparently Brownells has been out of stock for months and he has not found another source.

https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-t...prod12378.aspx

Any ideas from the tribe?

Holy mackerel. Never even knew there was such an animal. Been assembling and messing with these things for over 50 years. Been doing it wrong for a lot of years.

Thumbs do work.

Yeah I had never heard of one either. I did not ask him why, but he has Parkinsons disease and I assume unsteady hands is likely his reason.

I can see where that would be handy.
Only problems I have had are with some of the M1/M14 adjustable triggers that have a screw sticking out the back of the trigger right where you would normally press your thumb to compress the trigger spring.

Never needed one myself but the blueprint to make one is in Kuhnhausin's shop manual.

Tell yall what. That M-14 Assembly tool is worth its weight in gold to me. Years ago maybe not, but nowadays it is great.

Like Woody told the other toys in "Toy Story", "If you don't have one, GET ONE!"
