Canuck rear sights?

Isnít there a difference between C1/C1A1 and 8L rear sights? I thought I read on here the bases of the 8L are wider or something?

They have all the same base measurement as per the Canadian Forces Technical Orders on the FN C1A1 Manual.

Please find below two pages from the Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO) on the FN C1A1 foresights (conventional gas block and 8L series gas block) and on one type of rear sight.

Might be confusing C1 and C2 sights... two completely different beasts.
