Aussie vs Brit cut receivers

I'm talking about early Enterprise receivers. Is there any difference between the two? I couldnt find much doing a search. Pics?

The lightning cut is different on the Brit... I have one of each and they both perform great.

The Entreprise British cut receiver was offered in small numbers many years ago after Entreprise made the Australian cut receivers.
Entreprise offered custom serial numbers to match the lower receiver on the British model.

The EARLY Entreprise receivers were all Aussie. The Britt receivers were some of the last ones they made. The ABNI Aussies were some of the best US made inch receivers. The Entreprise Britt uppers have issues but did allow a custom SN that matches the lower. Mine is on a 61BSA with a Parker Hale barrel and other PH small parts. Entreprise assembled the rifle and it wouldn't take either inch or metric mags. I sent it back to have them make it right. The second try would take metric mags but still won't take inch mags. The charging handle fits super loose in the upper, and the bolt catch stuck in it's bore. Entreprise quality (oxymoron) went away as the years passed.

I built the Entreprise British receiver on an arsenal refurbished parts kit and the single issue I encountered was the locking shoulder exit hole was drilled slightly smaller.

If you read Mark's review on the ARS sight you'll see he had the same issues I had, except the inability to accept inch pattern mags. If I can't resolve this issue I'll send it to him. Dakto was a little luckier than me.

I got my DSA Brit receiver in 2017 and I didn't have any problems with it on my L1A1 build.

I guess it's a crap shoot. I lost twice and Mark had many of the same issues. So anyone who got a good Britt receiver without issues, is lucky. I've had 4 that were problematic. Any of the lucky ones who post their anecdotal assertion that these are good receivers have to know, others were not so fortunate.

How were these out of spec. Enterprise receivers marked? I understand the early BP marked receivers were good to go.
Thanks,

For everyone's information Entreprise Arms was a firearms dealer.
Enterprise Starship was NCC-1701.

Beam me up Scotty. The Buena Park receivers were all Australian cut.

Nice job matching up the "condition" of that Enterprise upper with the kit. You know, when you go to sell some of your collection, I need to be the first guy on your list.
