Found a Belgian Para

I received word that I have dibs on a Belgian receivered para. It is in beautiful shape. Seller want a little more than $3,000.00 for it. Is this a fair deal? I can not obtain pictures of it, all I can tell you is that I have handled it and it is a thing of beauty.

Find out who the importer was, some will place a premium on certain marked models. At three grand, IF it's a true factory Belgian PARA, and you have the cash to spare, then go for it.

We have recently seen sellers (in the Marketplace) asking close to 3 large for nice BGS kits built on forged US-made receivers, so I don't see the asking price as out of line.

Which model FN Para is it as an example the one I have in the MP is a 50.63

There are also the long barrel models with the number 50.61 (steel lower) and 50.64 (alloy lower).

This.

Most likely a 50.61, which would be a type 3. $3k is a very fair price if in VG or better shape.
If it is the 18" barrel, it is a 50.63 type 3 and is worth over $3k in most any condition.
A 50.64 would be a type 2 and the asking is a steal in pretty much any reasonable condition.
