Anyone use a stock cheek rest pouch?
Swapped out my hogue stock with a bell and carlson stock. I like it but it gets real hot in the sun.
So do these cheek rest/pouches work/help or get in the way?? |

All depends if ya need ta get yer cheek rest/weld up higher for optimal optic performance. Tall rings= tall rest. LOwer to bore is better; but some optics just get too high for a stock stock

Have one on my coyote gun has a small pouch I use to store a few calls and has catridge loops for extra ammo. I love it gives a nice cheek weld and keeps you from putting your face on a cold stock in the winter.

No, it did lose some of the original functionality. Dang it.

I've got a TacOps cheekpad/pouch on my 700, and love it. It's comfortable, and I keep my dope cards, a couple allen wrenches, and a broken shell extractor in the pouch.
