Hey Harrison....

So you gonna scrap your DeHavilland Beaver?
Yeah...didn't think so...

What a total doof. Oh,well, toss his ass in the same heap of obsolensence as George Clooney..
Wonder how the hell he got to Dubai? Swam there? Took a kayak?
Getting really really tired of Hollywood hypocrites.

"Harrison Ford has delivered a stark warning about the impact of climate change as he prepares to travel to Dubai to discuss ocean conservation.

The Star Wars and Indiana Jones actor, 76, is one of the most high-profile speakers at this year’s World Government Summit, which begins on Sunday. He said that climate change presents "the greatest moral challenge of our time".

Ahead of the three-day event, Ford recorded a video message in which he urged viewers to join him at the summit, which is now in its sixth year and will be attended by ministers, government officials and business leaders from all over the world."

What is it about wealth that makes some people feel guilty? Is it some kind of bad wiring in their brain? Do they feel that way because they know that they didn't earn their millions through actual work, they just played ball or portrayed a character in a movie or TV show, or maybe they picked up a musical instrument and were in the right place at the right time for some music industry sh1theel to find them and put their music in front of everyone?

I've never felt guilty about what I had. The closest was when I got a mid-five-figure inheritance from my grandparents, and I wished I had them back instead of the money. Other than that, I have no problem driving a rather pricey truck and throwing away half of a hamburger while there are people sitting on the bus, hungry, with less than a dollar to their name. I made better choices than them, and I work a LOT for what I have. If they can't be arsed to improve their lot in life, why should I feel guilty?

The "CLIMATE CHANGE!!!111!!!" thing, I've never seen any actual science that proves without a doubt that humans are going to cause an ice age and desertification because Sally Soccermom drives an SUV. Fifteen minutes of solar activity, or one volcanic eruption, have more effect on the earth than all of human industry since the 1700's.

I especially do not like being lectured to by someone who has never flown in anything but First Class, and who has someone that does all the driving for them. Someone who lives in a home that costs more than I will make in my entire lifetime, in some walled enclave in Kommiefornikate or CollarahDUH.

Harrison, you were great in Star Wars (the original AND ONLY trilogy). I loved when you took over the Jack Ryan character instead of that communist turd Alec Baldwin.

But your acting career means exactly nothing to me. You are a dancing monkey. We give the organ grinder money, and you sing and dance. So shut up and dance.

I watch several solar observation channels on youtube. I also watch the ionosphere, being a HAM. The bands are currently, and have been for a while, basically crap. Why? The SUN...its going very, very quiet. We are about to enter a solar minimum. Like they had in the middle ages. And there ain't shit we can do to jump-start the SUN to put out more.

Well stated. This coming from someone landing on a taxiway at a major airport in LA. His license should have been pulled.

Didn't he land an old spacewalker on a golf course when it ran out of fuel a few years ago? If I remember right it tore the plane up pretty good, too.

Fairchild PT22. Catastrophic engine failure. From what I have heard, he did a very good job getting it down, although he pretty much totaled the a/c and busted his own azz pretty well to boot.

This doesn't sound like Ford in most respects. I still don't view him as a Hollyweird whackadoo, but I'm worried about the boy.
