June in Kentucky

Some days here in June are simply outstanding. Today is a high of 70, no humidity, and a light breeze. I've been in my office since about 5 this morning and just walked outside for a bit when I stopped for lunch. I've got another hour or so of work that must get done yet this afternoon, but I have a feeling that quitting time may come really early today

Yep. I think the high is expected to be about 69 today. Which is rather odd.

Since the rain and cold front moved in, the weather has changed drastically the last few days.

At least we don't have the 362% humidity that we usually do.

It is SUPER nice today

I work in a windowless room all day, so I am missing the nice day. However, It is a VERY nice day today in our little corner of the world.

That's OK. It'll be over 100*F before you know it and you'll appreciate being indoors.

No wonder few of you guys ever seem stressed..location, location, location

That 10,000% humidity and 100 deg farenfuk and i will never be coexisting..

When my mom told me about the days when they were driving to cali from new york and they were in an area where at like 11am it was 100 or so ,blue sky and so humid water dripped from a window pane.... yea crossed that area off my list.. pretty picture though!

Hey Elf, I'm 100% with you on that quote.

Done my time in humidity like that and never enjoyed it.

I HATE humidity and any temp over 85. Been a cool wet spring here so far which is fine with me. Your garden looks good, much farther ahead of mine.

No kidding on the rain this spring. If I could have gotten it out three weeks or so ago it would have made some nice horse hay. As you can see I rolled it up for cow hay instead. First cut is always a gamble on when you can get it out.

Too hot is inconvenient.

Too cold is painful.

70-80 is nice, but I will take too hot over too cold anytime

Wowwee. 95 here at least it only feels like 103 according to the dewpoint thingy. Sun's moving out till in the morning. Overall not that bad with the little breeze. I really like summer as long as the AC is doing it's job. You could probably graze a couple of pygmy goats. It rains, but it's all sand.

I like horses,,,I actually went trail riding just yesterday in LBL,,,,
That ride was the conclusion to my 'second happiest day' as a boat owner,,,right after I watched the new owners pilot Serendipity away from KDM to her new home on Barkley...
Very bittersweet,,,,
