Trilux SUIT manual.

Here you go folks.
Everything that's fit to print on the TRILUX SUIT sight.

*Revision*
Sorry the manual is offline for now.
We're working on getting it back up as soon as possible.

Updated 7/1/2009.
There is now a clickable link to a torrent file, which will get you the pdf. lower down in the thread.
Thanks to NAIOLITH for the rescue job.

Sure, I'll run you one off. Let me have a mailing addy via PM.

We're working on getting the manual back online a different way, bear with us there is an issue with the file size we're working on.

I've been working with a member to get this re hosted & posted , but there seem to be some security issues with his end of the file transfer.

Files either don't arrive or get returned as undeliverable. I've suggested several times that it's faster for me to just mail a CD with the .JPG files on it & have him put them into his end of things, but this is pretty much failing at this time & I don't get any return communications to help resolve the issue. I have no problem with him wanting security, but it is slowing the process a lot.

Part of the problem is at my end, my dial-up connection is painfully slow & the file size limits at my end mean the files have to be sent in batches.

Because of these issues at both ends the porcess really is much faster if I just mail a CD & someone does the file copy at the other end. no, really!

Let me have a mailing addy by PM & I'll send you the CD with the 19 .JPG files on it.
& Thanks, BTW.

Everyone that asked for a CD has one incoming in the mail in the next few days depending on the speed (sic) of the USPS.
Once they arrive at the other end there are a couple of attempts at getting the manual reposted ASAP.

How about quick and humorous?

BitTorrent Explained

Bittorrent clients - wikipedia.org

and no, it's not a link to a pdf, it's a link to a torrent file, which will get you the pdf.

Bit torrent works well for everyone (even dialup users) because only small parts are downloaded at a time, and after all the parts are available, the file is cryptographically identical to the file that was originally uploaded.

It may take a dialup user a few days to grab this, but in the end, they will have it.

I've been hosting the torrent 24/7 since I posted it up here.

The trackers show at least 14 seeds for it.

Just let your torrent client run a bit, it'll come down eventually.

SUIT Trilux Manual

I have found one; its a PDF file that I saved
How do I attach it to the reply
It looks like a basic manual. I doubt that it is original but it does have a parts schematic

You might be able to upload it to Google Drive and then get a link to it to post here.

And welcome to the FAL Files!

Are you not allowed to attach documents etc to your posts on this forum or is it because of my first post status.

Thank you for the welcome

A quick way around is that anyone who wants a copy email me don't pm and I will email back the manual as a pdf attachment; that should work - and let me know if the manual is what you are after.

If that's ok with the Forum moderators

This was copied from information posted on the 'Files years ago:

Zeroing S.U.I.T. sight

If you can zero at 100 yds.
Get a standard target, any type you like as long as it's fairly large.
Reverse it! plain side facing you.
Now add 2 of those shoot'n see 2" stickers.
One goes in the center over the bull. This is your aiming point.
Take the second one & stick it 4 1/2" high & 1/2" RIGHT of the center of the other. This is your POI bullseye.
Set the SUIT cam to the rear (short range) position.

Putting the tip of the pointer on the center of the sticker over the bull fire a couple of shots. They should be on the other sticker.

To change elevation: Unlock the screw on the side FIRST, now raise, or lower as needed the vertical screw at the front of the mount to correct aim on the high/left target bullseye you made. Each "index" (white lines) is 4" @ 100yds, so make small changes to the screw or you'l walk it right off the paper. Once you have the vertical organized, re-tighten the side mounted locking screw to keep the screw from moving.

For windage (left/right) you turn the screw under the rear of the mount, right next to the cam. Again each "index" is 4" of horizontal movment.

If you can start at 25 yds, use the same process as the ballistics match at 25 & 100yds. The sight settings are reduced to 1" per line at this distance.

Once you have bullets striking the bull of the high/right sticker while the tip of the pointer is on the low/left bullseye you have a 300yd zero for the rear cam position & 500 for the front.

If anyone needs, I have a copy of the suit manual. I can photograph pages and send them to you in a PDF.
