Early C1 flat buttplate stock... when phased out?

I understand that the earliest C1 upper receivers sported metric type I external characteristics.

Does anyone know if the flat buttplate stocks were phased out before, during, or after the transition to the traditional inch style upper receiver?

The flat butt plate was on the EX1 and EX2 models and I haven't yet seen a C1 photo with an EX type metric stock and butt plate.
The inch made upper receiver with the metric design were phased out during production 1L00001-2L00001.

I believe the 8L series C1A1 had the trap door plate similar to the G1.

The EX1 took the shallow cup trap door plate IIRC.

In Steven's book; North American FAL's there is no mention or photo of a C1 or C1A1 non-trap butt plates.

I am trying to find the image(s), I found them during internet searches around a month ago, depicting numerous variations of C1 and C1A1 rifles, when I was investigating gas blocks ect. I noted that there were a couple rifles with the flat trap door buttplate (like the G1, except with horse shoe), as I found it interesting.

I didn't note the receiver types, but now I am curious. I should have saved the images.... I'll keep looking.
