Centerfire Systems has Mag Tactical magnesium billet lowers for $39.99 currently. Have done over 30 builds on these and we sold over 200 through LGS without a single complaint. We were selling these for $179 back before Mag bankrupted and Fostech purchased them.

LRB Arms has some stripped lowers on GB (4 pack for $238.95 + shipping). Have built a few ARs using them, no issues at all.

I'd give them a call, and talk with the customer service woman. She was very helpful!

Dang it, knew when they stopped selling $99 three packs were running low. When they first began selling them was happy to get access as was down to last half dozen Mag Tactical blems. Purchased 18 in my first buy then worried about them having a run so ordered another dozen following week. While talking with my rep asked if I should swing for the fence and stock heavy or were they fat on inventory. He laughed and said they had over 10,000 of the black and a few thousand in the white.

Cerakote lays down on these easy and sticks like it's a plating process or anodizing. Bought piles of their zombie green, pink, yellow and oddball blems, cleaned them well, went over well with Scotchbrite pad, cleaned again and squirted most O.D. Green as like that color. All have held up and no yellow or pink showing through. If they will sell a deal in the unfinished might order another dozen or two since like green and when neckbearding FDE seem to sell faster and for more money.

When I first got my hook up with Mag direct called every Thursday and my guy would tell me how many blems, what color and I would roll them on my credit card. When arrived at LGS would crack the box (shipped in plastic bags rather than boxes like Fostech uses) and the manager of LGS would pick through the box with me taking the better cosmetic units which often between both of us could not find any issues to rate them a blem and logging into stores book and putting the rest on a 4473 for me. Usually split orders 50/50 and I got my 4473 and background paperwork done free for sharing.

Was odd I paid $20 each as a guy who just caught an owner one day on phone when they first began, bought blems in bulk and posted pics of lots of Mag built rifles so I always got first right of refusal or buy. If they ordered through LGS originally they were about $100 each with $179 retail but soon wholesale leveled off to $79 and finally $49. My willingness to share $20 blems owner let me buy and he was making good money selling the better blems at full retail. One order purchased 60 FDE lowers and 40 FDE uppers. Let store have 1/2 of each and they were selling them for $129 each clearing an easy $100 per lower and the FDE would sell out by weekend whenever they came in no matter how many. Got 120 on one order right before they closed up and like a moron let shop have 80 of them and was last I got. Have three Mag FDE lowers and pair of Mag FDE uppers left.

Soon as Centerfire Systems got them and I told owner, LGS kept them rolling in. They ordered 240 for Black Friday at slight discount, sold them on the big day for $39.99 and sold out just after lunch. I had ordered another two dozen just before Thanksgiving and they never showed up. Finally called, they dug in and turned out same day I ordered 24 to be shipped to LGS they ordered 240 themselves. Someone assumed my order was a duplicate with typo missing a zero on end and cancelled mine. When finally figured out the gig they had raised price to $39.99 but honored my last two dozen at $99 per three pack and told me had less than 1,000 left. 10,000 plus AR lowers sold in less than a year just from Centerfire Systems. Makes a man think how many are floating around with Anderson, Aero and others cranking them out like free. Had about 72 put back last count but have finished a few builds but when are all built should be sick of buying vaults to store rifles.

My favorite receiver to build on right now are SWAT Firearms billet units out of Campbell Texas. They are not cheap but super rigid. When using a 20" to 24" heavy profile air gauged barrel like having the meaty receivers as a super rigid foundation for a build. We sell them for $395 as complete matched set at LGS and my price is not significantly less but worth the cost if building a big heavy barrel tack driver because they are so freaking stiff. When true the front of receiver it's jus because it's a habit as all thus far were spot on square and no high spots in bolt run. Had the four of the AR Stoner barrels ordered last week from Midway arrive today and look good. All are melonite with M4 profile in 14.7" length with 1:7 twist. These will all get AAC 51T Ratchet Mount Suppressor adapters exact same free float forearms aluminum BUIS sights, adjustible gas blocks, Hyperfire triggers and mix of Vortex Strike Fire red dot optics and Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x scopes. Dial them in and sit in vault with heavy coat of oil. Have another order with four fluted HBAR barrels supposed to show up tomorrow. It's a disease, it's contagious so don't accidently get near me.
