Thinking of giving away a small house, read on a bit-

I live in west Tx at a somewhat abandoned fishing camp. I have my home that I live in as well as a second house for friends and family when they come up in the summer to play on the water. I also have a 3rd little house or maybe its a shack? The structure is solid but inside its not much with no plumbing/restroom etc.,and it sits on a lot 50' X 75'. There is not a water well nor any type of public utilities except for electricity. Water wells could be drilled and water is around 60' below the surface but it is brackish and not drinkable without adequate filtration. The lake has no fish except for the occasional carp or minnow and the nearest grocery store is a 45 mile drive north or south. So why would anyone want such a place? Hell they probably dont! I love living here but im probably weird compared to most. The only reason I thought of this is quite a few people from all over the country are buying small pieces of land around here to set up their SHTF survival location.
The only catch to this offer is you can never sell the home or land to anyone, if you ever want to get rid of it you must return it to me though I would pay for improvements and such if any or whatever deal we work out in the beginning. Not sure how to work that just know I wouldn't like different people moving in at various times and also wouldnt want anyone to repair etc for the sole purpose of selling it for a profit type thing.
Why offer to give it away instead of selling? I actually still think that people should help each other out and be kind to one another. At this time the economy is rough and money dosen't come easy to many so I figure why not offer what I have to spare as im not using it and have no plans for it whatsoever. Maybe im just retarded who knows?
If anyone is interested send me a pm and I can give more information on the property and such. Transfer of ownership is easy via warranty deed and $25 fee to county clerk.

I dunno, I think that is rather big of you.

Not retarded at all. Sounds like you are the salt of the earth.

I wonder at the stipulations,,, would it be legal in Texas with the described encumbered "ownership"?
Advertising for a neighbor to be given free residence might be more easily done with similar restrictions. Post a likeness of who ever takes the deal, I'm intrigued to know. Have you ever considered renting to a family of mongoose?

If I lived within a 1000 miles of you I would take you up on your offer. I prefer places no one else wants to go. No one to bother a guy there. Its called peace and quiet.

sounds like somebody is getting lonely out there in the sticks.

neighbors is good, but only if they're quiet, and just close enuf to shoot with a rifle, if ya have to.

Nonetheless you disgust me, and I take comfort in the knowledge that your obituary will be nowhere near as humorous as mine.

The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."
