But I am not Catholic. Will this still work?

Plus my little shoulder angel must have been on break.

Just read reviews of said scopes as own none. Only good reviews could find was on their company website. Optics Planet had laundry list of horror stories on every model listed in review section at bottom of page from not living through first range session to four months in warranty repair and no communication on when items would be repaired and returned. It was disheartening to read some of the stories as could tell some of the folk tried buying a bargain optic, now have no scope as could not afford to lose their money. Some aRe saving for better scope, others are hoping the scope fairey will magically fix it and make it good when/if returned.

Yes but it will take you a lot longer as Catholics have shortcuts.

A likely excuse...

Your lucky it wasn't something of major importance, life and death like..

Might wanna get a new angel, I've seen some nice ones in Martin's red head thread.

You are not going to put they scope on that AR-10 carbine, are you?

If that is the case, dump the scope before you break it (or did you buy a used broken scope?) you will have zero warranty support when (it will) goes tits up on you.

Folks are always looking to cut corners on optics, and it always bites serious shooters in the ass.....

I thought about it . . . . still looking for a scope for the AR-10. For now it wears an Aimpoint. I think it needs something with a little more than 1X. But I did want to be able to at least aim the silly thing when I test fired it.

Still have not decided on a scope yet. Leaning towards a Primary Arms or Vortex 1-8, or the Primary Arms 4-14X44mm FFP. Decisions, decisions.

I'll give the Osprey 4-12X44 to one of the kids to use. They can strap it to a 22 or similar.

We have the Aimpoint Pro on the rifles we carry at work (AR15) and we have a 3x magnifier mounted behind it on a swing away type mount, so when you don't need it you swing it off to the side.

After killing a half dozen Nikon scopes and their replacements or warranty work have been leary of them. Went slumming and purchased three Nikon PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II Rifle Scope 1" Tube 4-12x40mm BDC 150 Reticle so could pull centerfire Leupold off seldom fired rimfire rifles have been quite satisfied with the $125 scopes when said not buying anymore inexpensive Nikons.

Purchased a group deal with a rifle, bunch of reloading stuff and accessories recently and had a Nikon scope in the pile and though had sworn off Nikon on centerfire had a fresh build needing glass, mounted it till could afford a nice scope and have been totally pleased. Was cruising a sale on optics on Midway last night and discovered my "cheap" scope was not cheap. It's a Nikon MONARCH 7 Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 2.5-10x 50mm Side Focus Advanced BDC Reticle which thought was a $250 retail and discovered Midway has a blem unit on sale for $650!

Didn't know there was over a $400 price difference in the side focus versus the standard Monarch 7 2.5-10x. It has been performing flawlessly in the field and is clear even on super hot days where get mirage using my Steiner binoculars once settle in and focus the Nikon it's been a solid performer. Even the little $125 rimfire scopes are working as well as the Leupolds for purpose needed as the bullet drop feature tuned for rimfire has made the rifles they are on much easier to quickly dope a shot. I guess if look long enough can find some cheap and some inexpensive scopes that work.

Smoke breaks are in their Angel's Union (AU) contract with the big guy in the sky.

I got one at a yard sale for $10, the guy wanted $25. 1-6X24 for my truck AR (mixmaster spare parts gun) and it actually works OK. I throw stuff in the back and if I break it, it's not a PRO. That's on my behind the seat pistol (AR) in a padded yard sale tennis bag.
