Fall Shoot Potluck

Ok, clean slate on a rough menu for the fall shoot, old hands, regulars, newbies and fist timers please feel welcome to attend and enjoy!

Bring a dish to share, show off your culinary prowess! (we won’t judge your can opening technique too harshly) and enjoy!

Friday night we have pork ribs as the main
Tater salad
Beans and cornbread

Saturday night we’ll have prime rib
Tater salad
Fresh beans and onions
Macaroni salad

All are welcome!

We may also be having brats and dogs for lunch one of the days, schedule to be finalized as we go.

Breakfast burritos and coffee will be present in the morning

As stated in another thread, I will be bringing a baked bean dish, which also usually contains prodigious amounts of bacon and smoked brisket.
I will also be bringing a thing that might be catagorized as cornbread, but different in a very good way. If you hate corn, butter, bacon or brisket, you may want to abstain from these dishes.
Oh, and I am fastidious about cleanliness when cooking, so thereís that.
I donít know what night to bring them out. They should go with either main dish.

Worse, you wrote it on the inner webs. It is there forever.

But you didn't post a price. You can still save yourself by posting an obscenely high asking price. Do it, man. Save yourself.

Bringing a big pot of tater salad...I mean BIG. Probably be enough to accompany both main meals. But also plan to do grilled fresh green beans and onions for prime rib night. So that means my bbq is spoken for, won't be able to cook anything else.

I will bring tortillas, plastic utensils, and Kingís Hawaiian Rolls. A headcount would be good so I know how much. I can bring sour cream or anything else needed that doesnít require cooking (no one should be exposed to my cooking)

Saturday Breakfast

Tracy has to work on Friday, so she won't be up there till Friday evening. Probably for dinner. We will be doing burritos Saturday morning. I heard thru one of these threads that somebody had some eggs and I think Nikmill is bringing fajitas and of course Elk is bringing bacon.
We also will be bringing our ableskiver pan to help out on Sunday. Tracy wants to work with the master on that.

If we can get something of a headcount for Saturday breakfast Tracy would appreciate it.

Oh and yes she will have Peaches and Cream cheesecake for Saturday evening.

A better word would be lease with options.

So is this shoot and shovel event at the same place as the last few ?

I'm trying to figure out if I will have a decent running truck by then so as I won't be stranded in the middle of nowhere if something breaks on it.

I'll make it one of these days, maybe.

Wife makes some very good authentic Italian dishes I could bring, is there a head count yet ?

For those that enjoy Italian that is.
You have 4 weeks to get ready, let us know.

The middle of nowhere is exactly the location of these gatherings.

If all goes well I should be able to dig up a couple of our basil plants (the wife does know about this) and keep them alive until Saturday lunch. Enough said.

I will have 2 doz eggs set aside for breakfasts, some brats/buns/condiments to cover a lunch, some chips and some water & soda pop for when it's not "5:00 anywhere" yet.

If the there is something else I can bring to help let me know!

Planning to be there Friday morning
