PTR91 Bolt Carrier has HK markings?
Does anyone know these symbols and what manufacturer used these?

As far as I know those are inspection stamps.
Does your carrier have any markings on the top tube? |

The early PTR's/S.N. AXXXX (Farmington, CT) used HK (and Rhinemetall--- later EBO and FMP) parts!!!
![]() Yours is an early HK (semi) bolt carrier--- 21HK is correct--- inspector markings--- I have seen CWA, CXA, WAA, and WYA on the rear of carriers. ![]() Tony |

Thanks so much for your help! My PTR91 is S/N AW73XX, so I suppose this was produced close to the end of PTRs use of surplus parts, since it has an HK bolt carrier like you say, before they started to manufacture everything themselves?
