An off-duty Elizabeth police sergeant was charged with drunken driving following a collision early Saturday in the city, court records show.

The 1000 block of Magnolia Avenue in Elizabeth, where Elizabeth police Sgt. Tracy O. Finch allegedly slammed into a parked car on Dec. 2.

Sgt. Tracy O. Finch was driving on Magnolia Avenue around 1 a.m., when he hit a parked vehicle, according to a New Jersey Police Crash Investigation Report. No one was injured in the crash, according to the report.
A breathalyzer test at the scene showed Finch had a blood-alcohol level of 0.13, which is over the legal limit of 0.08, according to the report. Finch was charged with drinking while intoxicated/drugged and careless driving.

LONG BRANCH -- An off-duty Long Branch police officer allegedly was drunk when he hit and killed a woman who was crossing the street in town last month, according to authorities.
Long Branch police on Thursday charged Jake Pascucci, 28, with driving while intoxicated, adding to the charges of careless and reckless driving already filed against him in the Sept. 22 death of Karen Borkowski, according to the summons obtained by NJ Advance Media through an Open Public Records Act request.

Even if their cops didn't drive drunk it's a friggin communist state, wife is from there but no way in hades I would ever go.

States that don't accept my Florida CCW don't deserve my presence, duck em in the arse sideways!!!
