LGS has a m47 for sale

LGS has a M47 with sling for sale for $599, maybe less if I talk them down. They also have the Bayonet for extra $$$.

I bought one 10 years ago. It was in a gun shop the tag said Mauser 30-06 i told them this is not a Mauser. They wanted 250 for it. I talk them down to 220 so i bought it. I was so happy to find one for a great price. I seen picture of them but this is the first time seeing one in person. They are a real nice rifle and rare to find to. Yep the bayonet are really high price and hard to find to. I can live without a bayonet for mine unless i can find one cheap.

I assume Danish Madsen M47? Sounds like a good price. One on Gunboards just sold for $750 but it was pretty mint.

I have one, but never shot it.

Many years ago Im at a gun show and I find this Odd Mil-Surp 30.06 rifle = Madsen --its Brand new, guy wants $250.00 I walk past and think where can you buy a Brand new 30.06 military rifle for $250.00 So I go back and offer $225.00 and walk away with it ,,Darn If 2 week later at the next show I find another one with bayonet again$250.00 Grabbed that one too ,,,Both Unfired because the Paint in the mag and bullet feed ramps was un marked ,,I shot one of them 18 Times --Now its not unfired and You can see the tracks on the feed ramp ! Should have left it alone But Thats Like having X-mas present you cant unwrap ! looks exactly like the one in the photos above -!!
