.gov control # stupid
So, I go to the bank to deposit money in my son's account. He is currently in Ohio in college and I live in Texas. Don't ask.
Well, I had already written a check for $700 and my wife texted me and told me to deposit $1000 because 1 of his other scholarship checks had arrived. So, I attempt to deposit $1000 in the form of a $700 check and $300 cash. It was refused! I was told that the bank did not accept cash deposits to any account that the depositor was not a signature too because it couldn't be tracked. However, I would be allowed to make the additional $300 deposit in the form of credit card, debit card, or EBT card. That's right, they don't accept cash. Welcome to control. Stupid, just stupid. |

Extrapolate this out to its future and you see that you must use a card to buy or sell anything. Now would be the best time to think about what having no cash means.

It's coming much sooner than anyone thinks. Thanks to the useless war on drugs and patriot act.

This is just another aspect of the fictional life most of you lead.
Since you all don't mind the fraud they (government) just notch it up a bit at a time. Keep in mind it's a huge file lots of info. I just received a pdf of a 268 page guide on how to deal with life without numbers and the STRAWMAN aka legal fiction is a major part of what I've read of it so far... EM and I'll forward a copy of it to anyone that wants to understand this better. Adue

Do you mind disclosing the bank? Are you sure it’s not bank policy?
I’ve deposited cash into a friend’s account at the credit union we share to cover tailgating costs. I ask this question/say these statements multiple times a day, “is it our policy or government code? Reference the code. We can change our policy.” |

The little bank I am with lets me do anything I want. Oh wait I sell firearms to several that work at the bank. I even deliver reloading supplies there. Sometimes small and local is very good.

Been that way for a couple of years or so. I have to show my drivers license to put cash in my own bank account (which is very seldom anyways). Stupid as all get out.

It has been mentioned before in other threads.
From my personal experience credit unions deliver far superior customer service and charge less fees than banks. |

I donate to my nephew’s college fund every month and send it to him via PayPal.

Anyone that implements these restrictions should be replaced with a bank that doesn't.
