RI: Pine Tree Gun Club 3-Gun

No affiliation with the match hosts, just wanted to share. Pine Tree Gun Club in RI is having a 3-gun match on 6/16 (Father's Day). I will be there running a FAL and Browning Hi-Power as the club follows RI 3-Gun rules, which have less strict divisions than USPSA, etc. Registration is on Practiscore. Happy to answer any q's or point people to someone who might know the answer.

Wait, so there are 3-gun matches where you wouldn't be allowed to run a FAL and a HP?

What if you promise not to make fun of anyone you beat with your hokey ancient weapons?

I'd be lying if I promised that.

You should see the apoplexy of USPSA directors when one competes with a concealed Magna-Ported Model 29 while attired in sport coat, hat , tie and Lizard Skin boots.

Not that that has ever happened........

Or if during periods of mass arrests people had simply not sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, ham- mers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand. . . . You are the only one that can do that and make it look good. The rest of us make them look like old, worn out shirts.
