Kauai is by far my favorite island.

Used to get up before the family and hit one of the roadside fruit trucks and get fresh pineapple and fruit for breakfast.

Poipu beach was fun. Shared it one time with a rather large seal.

Horseback riding in Princeville.

Catamaran ride to the Napali coast.

Deep sea fishing out of Lihue.

Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour.

Locking my keys in the trunk of my rental car at Waimea Canyon lookout. (Don't ask).

By far, my favorite island.

Poipu beach is just around the corner to the left upper part of the photo above.
Most of the folks visiting Maholo pu hike in from Poipu. We like taking the dirt road in. Bumpy, but fun.
Yep monk seas frequent the area.
Did the Napali Coast on the catamaran Napali Kai a few years ago. Snorkeled and had lunch anchored on the Napali just Nort of Poli Holi beach. I have photos of boats doing just that.
Learned the hard way that you should not wear an Aloha shirt if you want to take photos from a helicopter.
Haven't ever locked my keys in a rental , but there is always a first time.
Best way we found to see the island is from a powered untralight which I understand is now banned.

Me and the wife getting ready for a flight out of Port Allen airport a few years ago.

Got this shot of the wife flying next to us. She is on the left for the wise guys. All our kids think we are nuts for doing the things we do, but you only live once and why not have fun.
