Possibly. Or maybe it's just been awhile since they had any decent barbeque. We'll see.

One former Gal pal was born, raised and lives in Paris
She drove me nuts when we dated, rabidly Liberal

Well that changed fast after the Paris ISIS attacks
Remember that curbside bistro the muzzies shot up ?
like a block and a half from her upstairs flat.
That Dance club was one of her hangouts

She lost friends & one family member

Day after French radicals partially burned out one "migrant" camp on the outskirts of the City. French government ordered no press coverage
Girl is still seething pissed

She did vote Macron like a dummy, now she's really pissed over the new Energy Taxes
I was like "Move then"
her reply was telling...

This is my country & we will take it back

Worthless story but I need to tell it. Few years back a man and wife retiring from Oregons school system in their early 50s. He was a real gun man with lots of toys and he put them up for sale because he was moving to France and couldn't own a gun there. He told me France was a lot cheaper to live in compared to the USA plus a better place to live. I just happened to find out he had a garage sale on the last day of the sale and he was giving his gun stuff away.

Wonder how they are doing now.

France isn't cheaper.

You want to save money think Costa Rica, Philippines, Thailand, etc

and yes you can own guns in France.
Highly regulated but you can own firearms there a great deal easier than the UK or Germany or even New York City

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt owned a mess of guns at their Chateau in France
pretty sure that old Junkie Jolie still owns the place and the firearms
yeah Angelina is sort of a gun gal.

For all the slandering that some do of the French - they certainly have been, and might be the leader of the pack again - Farmers aside, that is!

Brűle bébé, brűle......

Whats funny is, this whole thing was supposedly set off by a gas tax that amounts to what, $0.28 per gallon? Not insignificant but not something I'd burn my town down over. Last month it was over the price of Nutella chocolate spread. Something deeper is going on. Maybe French citizens will one day realize that diversity is not their strength?

I tend to agree Impala, there is a certain angst beyond the taxes. Macron, of course is a rothschild, as would’ve been hrc - the truth of globurism is becoming apparent to the French - bless them.

The news was reporting this morning that the Macron fuel tax was to offset global warming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Macron recently attempt to dress down Trump over not embracing the Global Warming issue at a European summit?

Gas locally in Ky. is $2.11/gal for 87 octane, Super is $2.61/gal.

Trump has recently called out the Fed on interest rates when they raised them, called out OPEC when oil was rising, called out GM when they cut the work force, called out Mexico on migration, and called out China on trade infringement.

Macron has been revealed as a Globalist Bankers best friend, the French want a French Trump.

Great news to hear they're rioting (for our side).

uh' this trickles down into most everything IG
raise fuel taxes it ends up being absorbed by consumers & those most affected are the working public, never the wealthy or the welfare class.

Seem to recall he has as well raised general income tax rates on the middle class of the nation or is proposing to do so
Same with a variety of other tax schemes to finance his visions of grandeur.

The new gas tax is just one of many straws piled on the Camel's back there.

I wonder if Macron and the French elite will become frightened when they see a newly built guillotine being erected in a public square. Time for "The Terror" to come around for another visit....

And so it goes.

With a bit more courage, Duh French could've had Le Pen!... eventually they will, but she'll have a much huger mess to clean up.

It's just so damned difficult to feel sorry for Duh French, pulling out of NATO, shooting themselves in the foot in so many ways...

It would seem that many, maybe even a majority already realize this. The trouble with the French is they have no sticking power. Yeah they were way out in front of this whole republican governance thing back in the 1700s, even before we were truth be told. But it wasn't 20 years after they did away with King Louis that they were clamoring for an emperor. And of course, got one.

it would seem to me that the fuel tax increase is a mechanism to bail out the debt created by absorbing a non working permenant welfare class.

The next time I hear "THE RANGE IS NOW HOT", it just wont be the same.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."
