Somebody is a singin' the blues...

or "you're my bitch now.."
Found this laying in the middle of M-81 on Friday....between TSC and the flower shop..with the pouch a few yards down the road..even had the extra bit set still in the pouch.Couldn't spin my van around fast enough.. Kinda like this one, never had this particular model.
Like Reese says."hyper alloy combat chassis..very tough.."
I've carried a Wave for about 6-7 years, even have a new-in-package Rebar and a Supertool as extra spares. But this one kinda grows on me..

Great eye. Probably the only way I can have the real thing is to find one. They are pricey

I have a couple Wave Leatherman tools, which I really like. It would be really cool to find one on the road too.

Great find

When I worked at Bayou Steel (as a contractor), my boss there handed out the large Leathermans as Christmas presents. I gave mine to one of my kids to put in his truck's glove compartment.

Used to be a Leatherman dealer and currently own over 30 different models. Finally stopped trying to keep up though few that they made low production numbers and are worth real money make me want to keep buying at least one of every model released. Remember Leatherman rep coming in my climbing/camping/outdoor outfitting shop with first generation tool. Told him to leave me at least three and placed order for a dozen. Said he could not sell his samples as did not have company name or patent number engraved on them. Told him if wanted to walk out with the order signed and prepaid for a dozen I wanted minimum of two that day. Both are put up and only one was used a short time as figure has to eventually will be real value on the pre-production models without engraving. I really like my "vice-grip" model and wife loves all the tiny models can carry in a small purse.

Many years ago a friend set a nickel plated Smith Model 59 on top of his car as loading a few things in his hands. Got in car and drove away with the Model 59 laying on roof of vehicle and didn't remember till got to destination. He spent a week looking for the pistol which I told him was waste of time. It slid off in road soon, someone saw it laying there in holster and took it home. People can be easily distracted.

Ha, that's funny. I bought 6 Leatherman and Gerber Multi Tools last week for $20 apiece, most were nearly new with sheath and originally sold for $70-100.

Bought them at our State Surplus Property Store- the one where they sell all the stuff they confiscate at the Airports! You KNOW the folks that lost those were pissed- nobody to blame but themselves and they had to just turn the stuff over!

Also bought 6 nearly new Glock 17 mags ($10 apiece) a VERY RARE Factory, Pre Ban, Sig 20 Round 226 mag (Yup, $10) and a Stainless Steel OEM Sig P220 mag- yes, all mags are $10.

Didn't find any good knives this time (they know knives pretty well and price them pretty high...)... but I did buy a tactical pen for $5...new it was over $120....

Love that place!

I have donated to that store on multiple occasions.
I've lost more pen knives and micro tools at the Xray stations than I can count.

Damned pocket clips will get your stuff lost. Season before last, brush hogging, some thick brush relieved my pocket of my Leatherman. Every time I hit that section, I get off and walk around.

Replaced it with the Skeletool. Put it in a McGuire Nichols sheath, and have a lanyard clipped to my belt loop.

Once, deer hunting in the Ozarks, I reached down and felt my Puma sheath empty. I just hung the sheath on a tree in case someone found the knife so they'd have the sheath too. The leaves were down, so I had no hope of finding it.
