Does anyone have a good transfer FFL that they have worked with in Southern Kalifornia who doesn't charge an arm & a leg (or two of each) to do an order or a transfer? I don't get the $50-$75++ fees plus the DROS or the % of the cost fees as if the paperwork costs more the more you're spending!

I've been collecting parts & pieces off of the Files to build a couple of FALs with a friend but, I'm going to need to buy receivers soon & it just rubs me the wrong way to pay such high fees for a few minutes paperwork! If I'm putting up the money for something that the dealer doesn't stock, shouldn't I get somewhere close to the dealer price and not full retail? OK, I'll quit ranting now.

I know that I'm late to the FAL building party but, I just don't want to be soaked in order to join in!

I'm "Mike's Gun Works" in SE Idaho (Pocatello) and between 10am and 8pm can be reached at 208-234-2057.

Transfers of long guns are a flat $10 per 4473.
Transfers with handguns are an additional $5 per each handgun on the 4473.
