Yep! Also if you go here - https://practiscore.com/pha-vintage-2-gun/register and click on stages, we have them all uploaded so you can see what you're in for. Speed loaders are fine!
Now that is cool - I didn't know you could upload documents to Practiscore! I'm gonna steal that...

Not gonna steal the heels, but I bet you make them look good.

May I suggest this outfit. After all, this is a pretty formal occasion.

I think Klinger carried his M1911A1 in a garter.

The purse may make for faster reloads than the cartridge belt!

I nearly got my wrist crushed by a loose 75lb Wilton vice. Big knot on my wrist now. My own fault. I tired and set it on an uneven surface. Drank a couple extra shots of my favorite cheap scotch.

Now, next, Iím supposed to say I canít make the shoot, cause my hurts. But But Iím still going and have no excuses if I mess up any shots or weapons manipulation.

Because: A or B

A. Quitting is not an option. This will be too much fun.

B. I was inspired by some bench rest shooters that worry more about how much chrome is on thier truck and not scratching thier rifle than they are about how well they can shoot unsupported, and they still actually think theyíre gonna survive a SHTF.

Once again, now Iím laughing hysterically and people are looking at me like WTF is the matter with you.

IM, you know we'll be right behind you cheering/razzing you on. Don't think we'll let a little

hold you up from shooting!!!

May not be in period uniform. Everything I needed has gone FUBAR and now I am just struggling to get some correct web gear.

Anybody planning a get together Friday night? Kind of what we do at Stimpy's match. A little meet and greet before the match where adult beverages may be available for those who want them.

My goodness I am glad you are okay and that didn't turn out worse!! But yes, you are still expected to shoot Also, I do appreciate your offer of the PBR for the prize table but our range is not alcohol friendly (open container or otherwise!) so you'll need to keep it in the truck and stealthily give it away

Tac 40 I'd love to host a little Friday GTG but I've got a family thing I've got to go to unfortunately!

We had our RO meeting yesterday to get everyone on the same page. I also painted the panels for the "glider" stage, going for a more authentic look! Invasion stripes and everything.

I canít believe you might be out of uniform for the Inaugural Piedmont Handgunners Vintage 2 Gun Match. That doesnít make for a very good sea story. Maybe come as one of the characters at a Shellback Ceremony? That would really blow some minds!😄 ❤️

Thanks and yes, I will have the PBR in a 3 mil black contractor bag, hidden.

There were a bunch of vehicles at the building on the side of the hill just before the 100/200 yard range. I bet that was the RO meeting. I was out there practicing and the wrist doesnít affect shooting, just hurts if hits something.

Never see rifles with wooden stocks at this range. This will certainly be a breath of fresh air.

Sorry, no can do. Never made Shellback. Got all the others: Blue Nose, Order of Magellan, Order of the Dragon and few more. Just never crossed the equator. Came close, but no cigar.

Still hoping and trying for the uniform, just everything not falling into place. At least my web gear should be authentic looking. Might have to wear a pair of scruffy jeans, flip flops and a torn T-shirt. Then I could go as a Phillipine Island guerrilla.

You ever think of just going with blue jeans, a light blue long sleeve button up shirt and black shoes Tac? Iím sure you still have a Dixie Cup. I had one, but one of my daughters confiscated it for the beach because it was cool.

I suspect we will be committed elsewhere as well with our boy and his wife, but if someone does put together a Friday GTG, please let me know.

Maybe....

Just busting your chops..

In Afrikaans it is "Hagar die verskriklike". I always busted my ex wife's chops trying to say that word. She could speak fairly good Afrikaans but she would come up with some doozies every now and then. We have some interesting words in Afrikaans for Americans to try and pronounce. Gogga, gatgabba (you don't want to know what it means), gebliksem. All the GGGGGGG words in general..

Well, I'll be leaving for the match tomorrow and will be staying in Salisbury at the Econo Lodge just off the interstate. If anybody else is staying in the area and want to do a get together, post it here. We CAN make it happen.

See y'all at the range on Saturday. And Mike, can't wait to see you in heels.

We are at our son's place now in South Charlotte. Google says the range is an hour and 15 minutes from here, plus him and his wife has our whole weekend planned it seems, so we definitely won't make any evening activity Friday with you guys. Be safe and see ya Saturday morning.

I was at the PHA Range today and there was a gent firing a G43. I asked and he will be firing it in the Vintage 2 Gun along with either a 1911 or P38. Just another cool gun that is going to be here.

Friday the 13th did not want me to make this trip. Started off with me not finding the ammo for the carbine. So packed up the Garand and loaded a can of bandos. Then I forgot the web gear and address to the range. So back in the house I go and promptly trip over the carbine ammo can. So it got loaded too. Straps holding my bed box came loose and I ran over one. Thought the bed was coming off the truck. Got that fixed. Then while driving down the interstate, my cruise control turned off less than 15 miles from home. Pulled off the road and checked the fuses. None blown but a couple had come corrosion around the contacts. Cleaned those and viola, cruise back on. 10 more miles and while behind a big rig in a construction site, the duellies picked up a rock the size of a golf ball and flung it straight into my windshield. At that point I was ready to turn around and go home to climb back into bed. But no cracks or chips so now I am here waiting for tomorrow.

Thinking twice about leaving the hotel to get something to eat.

We got four of the stages set up this morning Going to do the fifth in the morning.

Can't wait to see all of you!! It's been quite a while in planning this match so I am excited to see how it all runs It's looking like we will end up with 30-40 shooters which IMO is good for an inaugural, somewhat oddball, match.

Well, Iím sure youíre ready for some real beer after drinking that Charlotte swill! Maybe youíll be lucky enough to win the case of genuine out of date Walmart Papst Blue Ribbon along with a genuine Styrofoam Papst Blue Ribbon cooler! It will be there, just hidden due to the guns Ďn booze thing. We got some people that need to have the combo to their gun safe changed when they drink.

This match was a hoot. Really challenged the shooter and his weapons. Very professonally run with a great staff of R/O's.

Beseventeen, you did great hosting a match that everyone enjoyed. Can't wait till the next one.

Now for a little

Well, JCorns, Infantry Marine and I have decided to squad together at the next one. And we will be shooting our No 1's. Anybody else shooting a No 1 can join our merry band. We will be calling ourselves The Number One Squad.

Otis Treekiller made a stop by and it was good to see him again. Maybe he can work his schedule out for the next one and join us.

Had a great time today! Shot carbine and Garand, but I think I`ll choose one or the other next time. Dragging my cart around got old, lol

Congratulations to JCorns for his outstanding win with a Lithgow No.1 MkIII and P35 Browning

That was one of the best matches ever! B17 sure does know how to direct a cool gun shoot.

The FalFiles had a great turnout and I was able to reconnect with quite a few people I hadnít seen in years. And I got to go full retard with a Luger too-freakin awesome time-and weíre already talking about the next one!!!
