Colt Pocket Hammerless Hammer

Maybe I do not understand firearms. Maybe I do not understand the English language. But something in the title of this thread does not make sense to me.

You dont understand the Colt pocket hamerless has in internal hammer and not a striker type mechanism

Exactly. If this was a logics class, (Having Hammer) & (Hammerless) = FALSE. The intersection between both sets is an empty set.

I have no issue with having a hidden vs exposed hammers or hammer vs striker fired.

Maybe Colt's marketing thought "Colt Pocket No External Hammer" was a bit much

At the time this Pocket Hammerless came out they had another model called the Pocket Hammer, which was in .38 acp. So this was to differentiate between the two.
