Wow, makes me rethink my trusted K-bar. Just the flow of the knife and the way it hugs the body in carry mode are amazing. Funny how you can get a "feel" for a knife just by looking at it.

I saw a TV show about these guys. They make some tough knives! I've been thinking Khukri myself. Dad had some originals when i was a kid living in England. I loved the way they handled.

Don't let their name scare you off. The knives they make are STRONG!!

LOL, Yep those guys are out of Missoula. They had a short lived? series on TV about building a survival bunker. There is definitely some wicked steel there!

I saw those shows. Not sure if they were just pilots, or what? I hope they make more shows. I like these guys attitudes!

Here's their video where they try to destroy their Deuce. Have to admit, they make some strong blades!!

I like this from thier website: 'While we’ve always said that, “If you’re prepared for zombies, you’re prepared for anything,” lately we’ve added an addendum, which, in its contradictory truth, is suggestive of a Japanese koan: If you’re only prepared for zombies, you’re not prepared for anything. Zombies are a fiction, after all. Our blades are not.'

I agree with all that except Zombies being fiction, I think several are already among us. At least that is one explaination for some of the idiots I encounter on a daily basis. I'm going to have to bash them with the GI folding shovel in the back of the car though casue I don't have the juice right now to order one of these fellow's fine blades.

as much as i love the kuks, the bowie is my choice..

with a condition: A well made bowie, preferably one I made.

Just as you guys who have mentioned the diference in feel and use between the CS production Kuks and the Himalayan Kuks, there is a world of diference in a good bowie and one that is just a large knife.

I have both- and while my Kukri is in the truck, the bowies are actually carried.

There are far more good kuks on the market than good bowies right now. Thus the bias is understandable.
