Inch carbine kit with 6 US parts.
I have the following for sale. Inch pattern carbine kit with 6 US parts. The kit is a mixture of British and Aussie parts with the follwoing US components. US hammer, trigger, sear, pistol grip, butt stock and muzzle device. The muzzle break is silver soldered on and the barrel measures approx 16.25". Barrel is British with chromed chamber. Lower is Aussie. Does not include locking shoulder or breeching washer. If you have any questions please ask. $325 shipped. Payment via USPS MO (anyother form of payment recieved will delay shipping. SPF to houtexgunner
I need to clarify the barrel length. Overall length with the muzzlr break is 18.75". The barrel itself if I measured right is approx 16.25". If someone wanted to they could remove the muzzle break thread the barrel and put a flash hider on it which was my intention until I found it was soldered on. [IMG] [/IMG]

I know this is a stupid question, but I'm just getting into FALs. First off, what brand is the receiver (imbel, DSA, etc.)? And secondly, what is the gun missing? What would I have to do to it to get it up and running, other than putting it together?

No such thing as a stupid question.......... Unless I misread the ad, a receiver (upper) is not included. That would be what else you needed. A good deal on a kit though, especially with all the US parts.

As stated above there are no stupid questions. I have been over the last couple of weeks been cleaning out all of my inch stuff. What is present here is enough parts to assemble a carbine FAL minus the receiver, locking shoulder and breaching washer. I need to clarify that the barrel measures 16.25" with out taking in the length of the muzzle break.

How long does the barrel need to be? Where can I find a receiver and what type would you recommend?
