Occasional non-feeding of rounds in cold 0 degrees.

I have a Fal that is new to me. I took it out with me on a snowmachine ride with me yesterday. It was very cold, 0 degrees with wind chill probably 10 below. The receiver and chamber were very clean. I have a manual for it, which I have read. It says to lightly lube certain parts. I have some Super Lube that is supposed to be good to 40 below. I'm thinking it was dry. I've read the Fal is very reliable. My question is how much lube for cold weather ops? Supposed to be new barrel. Accuracy looks fine. But jams are a Pisser in any weather. I've been in AK for 20 yrs. now and Know Alaskan weather can mess up a otherwise reliable piece of equipment. If I do my part how reliable are these things soposed to be? I guess I'm a cinic untill things are proven. any and all help is greatly apprieciated. I'm new to the Fal but like anything new I try to learn everything about that subject. Information from vetern Fal owners out there is very valuable to me up here in the boondocks. thanks in advance.
