It is firkin cold as he** down here in south Ga today, and everywhere else I am sure. I live about 20 miles from the coast near Savannah Ga ane are getting some serious snow (for us)! We are projected to get between 5 - 8 inches today. Roads and cars are covered right now and it is coming down hard. Neighborhood kids are outside throwing snow balls.

wish you luck w/ the weather down south, temps here in PA been bouncing between -10F to maybe 20F since Christmas, having a tropical heat wave here on top of the ridge today, just hit 30F about a hour ago, it will be short lived ......

looking at temps holding between -10F to maybe 20F for at least another week

it is winter ...... need to check the oil tank level,

just filled a few weeks ago but certain it is down to 3/4 by now w/ this bitter cold weather

Key West is looking real good right now .........

We are so jealous here in the southwest. It has been in the upper 50's and lower 60's for weeks.

I was outside loading some 300 blackout yesterday.

Send some our way. We have zero snow pack this year . . . so if this continues it could turn into a serious forest fire season later in the year.

I think you guys down south have been getting more snow than us. Over the past couple of weeks, we've had a quarter or half inch here or there. There is maybe 2 inches on the ground max.

That's really strange...

I am West of Atlanta and not a flake in the sky here yet today.

We did get 11 inches of snow back in the December storm, so we've had our fill.

Mid 50's here today thank you Lord. First day out of the 30's since last week Back to the normal mid 60s by the weekend. Wanted to cut wood and work in the yard. Cracked a rib though. Ouch.

Was 9 degrees here in Richmond last night and were expecting a few inches tonight. Schools around here are already delayed or closed.

So most of the area got a bunch freezing rain but it snowed at my house for about 4 or 5 hours. We did get some freezing rain before all that though. I guess we got about 5 inches and it stuck over night. Woke up Thursday morning and it was all still there.

Kids were out sledding in our neighborhood and one guy had a snow shovel digging his driveway up so his kid could build a snow man. Rare sights for south GA.

Here are a couple more from around when it was slowing down.

Don't mind sharing some snow with you folks down south, there. Am in the middle of blizzard conditions as I type, should get 10-14" by tonight, then the temp drops to 0 or so for the next couple of days. Come on, spring! Get here soon!
Best,
Larry
