Price check...1894 Winchester

1894 Winchester 30-30. Serial # confirms manufacture in 1906. Has a New 1948 manf. rifle length octogon barrel. Scaloped rear stock that was broke and repaired (well). In sound mechanical condition and shoots well, but looks well used..which I like.

Whats a fair price?

Original collector value is gone. I would say $4-500. I just sold a 1917 26" RD barrel button mag in "fair" condition for $470 on a penny start GB auction.

I know it has no collector value, but it has serious cool factor value....and can be had for under 4 bills.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it!

Cool

Rich if you pick that up for under $400 you did well. That sounds like my model 94 Classic that I had custom made in the early 80ís. When we get together next you can shoot some of my cast bullet loads through her. 100 to 150 yard gong smackers. I make them by the 1000 and love to share.

Was wondering when you'd be along to help.

Actually looking at it for a friend, though it may end up as a belated Christmas present for myself..

Pm your email, I'll send the pics I have. Thank you for the input, and Merry Christmas buddy.

I'm buying the rifle length one in the picture for $550. Made in 1898.
