He was running away from a feeder where one of his fellows had fallen to my FAL. I started shooting from the hip and this lucky lad ran into a bullet. You can see where it just grazed his side before hitting bone. Blowed up good!

People always give me a chuckle when they speak about FMJ bullets not doing that much damage, looking at these pictures of the blown up hog, is exactly what people look like when hit bu FMJ bullets.
Hit bone, get an explosion, even a pass through makes for one devastating wound cavity.
I got me a "few" bullets, and all of them are FMJ.
No wonder bullets, just plain on fashion FMJ, they get tha job done.
For rifles that is, hand guns, all JHP's.

Yep. I shot a deer with FMJ, and he ran 10 yards straight into a tree. Hit him in the chest from the side and passed through. His gut wall was herniated from the round.

30 caliber rifle rounds look to be pretty devastating. I can only imagine what the mess it could create in a human

While the wild ones can't be killed fast enough to keep the population down!!!

No.
Cook it well and your good.

Friends have an infestation. I'm going to be smoking some hams as soon as they have enough to fill my smoker.
Then we'll spilt it and can pulled pork. (I made the mistake of bringing over a jar... they loved it!)

Smoker will get hot enough to kill anything, then 90 min in a pressure canner will too.

And it'll sit on the shelf for years and make a great sandwich or meal when the time comes.

I picked up a bunch of jars when wallmart had pints on sale @ $5/flat.
Guess it's time to fill some! (1 pint will hold 1 pound.)

"No.

I meant the wildlife that consumes it. I know cooking thoroughly will destroy most parasites.
Prions..different story.

Around here,Bald Eagles are carrior feeders. see them all the time out in the fields, eating on some dead thing out there. Usually good and rotten. Wonder if they get the worms?
Might be a slow death for a cougar. No,not the kind that likes diamonds.
Every critter out in the bush has parasites. They'll carry on as normal.
