Petitions to have charges filed against David Gregory for his dangerous magazine

Here is a link to the White House website requesting charges to be filed against David Gregory for waving around that awful, scary 30 round magazine

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...azine/gMNRPpPl

as an added bonus, here is a link to another petition to get scumbag Pierce Morgan deported for telling us American's how to excercise our rights

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pet...dment/prfh5zHD

I don't have any hope that either of these will amount to anything but I signed them anyway

I love how Obama's petition idea has turned into a national Rage-o-Meter.

I signed. Just for grins, I refreshed the page about every 10 seconds. Each refresh showed 1or 2 new signatures.

ETA: there have been over 100 sigs in the 10-15 min since I signed

I am certain that he will be aggressively prosecuted like Fast & Furious, crooked bankers, etc, etc, etc.

Most honest and open administration and all that.

I'd love to see this in the Supreme court.
The District of Columbia Vs. David Gregory. And I want Gregory to WIN. He will have unwittingly have defended the 2nd while trying to get his a@@ out of trouble for breaking an unconstitutional law. A law that HE was trying to FORCE on others. His name would forever be associated with all the overturned unconstitutional banns in the other repressive stares and cities. Replace the descriptor, "Heller decision" with "Gregory decision", He'd have to live with that for the rest of his life, that would be justice.

Why Carguy, you act as though "HE" is going to get a third term, some how I really doubt it.
Lots of sarcastic, defeatist attitudes going around too and those attitudes make me sick.

As long as HE keeps the food stamps flowing and increases the number of people dependent on the gov,HE will continue to grow support.

I can be sarcastic, but am a realist and not a defeatist.I will not give up,nor in,but looking at the big picture,we are getting pretty outnumbered.Plan accordingly.

Hope you have/had a great Christmas!

Why does it take a fuckin' petition? Are the DC cops asleep at the switch? They don't even need a warrant. This goes far beyond 'probable cause' they use in shakedowns in the average dope bust on the screets.

HEY DC POLICE !!!!! Get off yer' ass and hook this guy up! Your case is made for you for phucks sake.

Because they have to be badgered into even providing the appearance of uniform application of the law.

Hahahaha... You guys don't think the Mouth of Sauron is going to get in trouble for breaking a law that doesn't apply to the Riders in Black, do you? Now they have a deeper set on the hook they got in that boy. Hahaha...you fellers should do stand up comedy.

"CNN's Howard Kurtz also rejected some critics' claims that Gregory is hiding (he won't be hosting "Meet the Press" this Sunday because he is on vacation). "Gregory had no intent to commit a crime; he was committing journalism instead. Gun owners often say they want the government to leave them alone; why then are some clamoring for Gregory to be prosecuted?"

Also, the stated intent was to "embarrass Wayne LaPierre"...and that's considered journalism today?

We are so far gone you may as well stick a fork in us.

"She said Gregory was merely pulling "a stupid TV stunt," and had no intention of committing a crime. "We have so many serious issues of violence in this country... that it is bizarre to me that anyone would spend (waste) 5 minutes investigating NBC’s David Gregory for this," Van Susteren wrote.":

Millions of legal law abiding gun owners in this country possess guns and high capacity magazines without any intention of committing a crime as well.

"NBC contacted [the Metropolitan Police Department] inquiring if they could utilize a high capacity magazine for their segment. NBC was informed that possession of a high capacity magazine is not permissible and their request was denied. This matter is currently being investigated," police spokeswoman Gwendolyn Crump said in a written statement. She declined to comment further on the investigation.

Sounds to me like he knowingly had every intention to violate the law.
