P229 Value
I have a P229 in 9mm. A guy at work wants it and I've been longing for a CZ75. My Sig is uber-clean, maybe 250 rounds through it. It was not a CPO pistol. I still have the box, the manual, the "Got Sig" sticker, two mags, and a holster (bianchi, nothin' fancy). I've been trying to figure out what it's worth. It's got a stainless slide but it's not one of those DAK pistols. I mention this because the plain 229 on the Sig website doesn't appear to have "stainless" stamped on it. They're probably all stainless?
Anyway, what do you think it might be worth, ball-park? TIA |

$500-600 sounds about right on the 229, unfortunately.
A new CZ-75b will set you back about the same as what you'll get for the SIG. A used one will be in that $ 400 range, I think. |

I noted sig pistols , new, retail, are generally in the $1000 range now. I am getting sig fever, might sell an ak to fund a sig pistola.

MY OPINION, the P229 is the class of the SIG's...I have quite a few various sig models and the P229 .40 is my DC.... I would think $550 to $650 is what yours would be worth on a quick sale...... NO maybe NOT the best comp triggers but excellent as I mention for daily carry! LaC
