Milt Sparks Holster-Opinions Wanted

Brownell's has the Milt Sparks inside the waist band holster for the G17 on sale for $80. I've heard the name and IIRC, they are a quality product, but anybody have first hand accounts, good/bad with this holster or this maker in general?

I have a left-handed Sparks VM-2 and I am of the opinion that all of the hype surrounding Milt Sparks Holsters is true. I carry a big Beretta 92 and it is not only concealed but very comfortable to carry, as well. I need to find one for my Glock 19, preferably a used one.

If the holster is the IWB Summer II then get it! Great holster!!

The VM-2 is supposed to by really nice too, but I do not have personal knowledge....

Top notch product - Milt Sparks.

You may find that slightly less-expensive products, or even MUCH LESS expensive products meet your needs.

I'm running a "slightly less-expensive" holster with the Glock.
I'm not sure what the Sparks holster would do that this one doesn't do.

I have the Summer Special II inside the waist band for my Colt Commander and I love it. Very well made fits my pistol like a glove easy to get on and off. Get it you will like it.

I would highly recommend any product that comes from Milt Sparks.

Tony Kanaley has continued producing the high quality and durability that is expected.

I love Milt Sparks!!

Because I bought a package deal from a guy that was selling off his and his wife's almost new pistols, Glock 30, Glock 26, nite sights on both, 8 0r 10 mags, glasses, range bag, muffs, DeSantis holster for the 26 and a like new Milt Sparks holster for the 30,,,all for $800.

He was going to spend the money on guitar lessons. lol

Anyway, ebayed off the Sparks (don't remember the model, VM2??) for $175, well over retail because at the time there was a long backlog on delivery.

Then bought a Don Hume, M715 for $30. My favorite holster. Well made, easy on and off. Perfect right up front, for guys without a gut.

I have been wearing a Milt Sparks Summer Special with one or another Colt Commander in it since I bought it at the Gunsite pro shop in 1987. Everything I have bought from them since has also been well designed, well made and very durable.

That the small company can charge what they do and has the waiting time they do is testament to their quality.

Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions. I took the plunge and ordered the holster from Milt Sparks. The fact that it is durable and American made sealed the deal. I have no regrets about spending the sweat of my brow here. I've definitely made poorer choices in spending money...(don't ask)

I own 9 holsters/mag carriers from Milt Sparks. I personally wouldn't use any other leather holster. But then, I have two friends that work there, so I may be a little biased!

Dad knew Milt and I have a 1911 holster that Milt himself made when he was up in Idaho City.

I bought a six pack magazine pouch for a 1911 a couple years ago. Very handy item. Its not listed on the web site but they did them every three months or so.
