OPTICS PLANET WON'T PRICE MATCH WITH BOTACH TACTICAL

At Least with regard to Leupy scopes.

Looks like they would post dealers with whom they won't compete with their price match plan.

Botach must have too good prices for them to deal with!

I called Leupold and they say should be no problems with buying the scope from Botach.

Looking at Andy's post- Does Botach have a bad rep or something?

I bought an Aimpoint from Botach a few weeks ago.
Best price anywhere and it was at my door 5 days later.

Optics planet is most likely a Leupold licensed dealer and as such they cannot discount current scopes, only discontinued scopes. Botach is probably not a licensed Leupold distributor and as such is not bound by pricing policies. That is my guess.

I have had both awesomely good service from Botach on some orders and have had awesomely bad....they eventually fixed it, but they "lost" one of my orders for 3 months....

The service at Botach seems to have gotten a lot better in the last couple of years.

Many of their items can now be purchased via their Ebay storefront. In this venue they cannot be sloppy in their customer service, and expect for it not to be reflected in their feedback rating.

Never mind. found them but they seem to be out of the that scope model.
