wecsog flashhider timing
I noticed that DSA quit selling flashhider timing washers so I came up with a solution. I took a faucet valve reaming tool and reamed out the inside of the flashhider until it timed correctly to my barrel. The faucet reaming tool comes with several cutting heads of various diameters, I had to use the smallest size. It worked pretty slick. Just go slow and check your work often. I don't know if it's worth any wecsog points because a dremel tool wasn't involved and I didn't cut myself in the process
I know that this is the same type of method FN used to time flashhiders. Although they didn't use plumbing tools to acheive perfection

The one, oft not mentioned rule of WECSOG, is to utilize a completely off-kilter tool or implement for a process. The use of a plumbing tool is quite appropriate in this instance. Very wiley of U
![]() Next time just make a leetle gash in yer palm to satisfy the WECSOG gods while ya visualize a Dremel. It'll do

Flash hider timing
I have the same problem with a couple flash hiders. there are alot of faucet reaming tools out there. Which tool did you use? Size? Maybe a picture. Thanks in advance for the help.
Would this type/size work? http://www.doitbest.com/Plumbers+too...sku-468010.dib |

You still have the chance to earn points if you shoot the gun until the flash hider loosens, and you reach up there while its still hot...

I had one that would shoot loose a while back. I tightened it good dumped a quick mag and grabbed the flash hider to check if it was loose. It was but I didn't hold on long enough to find out, lol.

Blacksmith working on a horseshoe in the forge sets it down.
Stranger walks into the shop and picks up horseshoe, and puts it down REAL FAST. Blacksmith: "Hot?" Stranger: "No. Just don't take me long to look at a horseshoe."

It doesn't take me long to check a flash hider either.
